Rory finished in 18th and 15th places in the '86 and '87 State Meets respectively running 17.08 as a senior and 17.15 as a junior. Rory's personal record time was 15.50 for 3 miles at the B'ville XC Course and his PR at J-E as 16.22. Rory was an all state wrestler and he was runner-up in the State Wrestling Meet at 167 pounds. Rory went on to wrestle at Herkimer and Morrisville Colleges.

Zach Bennett (1995 - 1998)

Bryan was the co-leader of the 1986 & 1987 State Meet teams from J-E. A perennial all star, Place was 27th in the '86 State Meet and 18th in the '87 State Meet where the Eagles took 2nd place. Place qualified for the 1988 state meet as an individual by finishing 6th in Sectionals. Place went on to run at Cayuga Community College and the University of Connecticut.

Mark Schneider (1986 - 1988)

Zach was a four year varsity scorer and holds the J-E record for making the first all conference team four years in a row.  Bennett competed in two State Meets and was the Section III Class B runner up in 1998.  Bennett made two All State Teams as well.  In the 1997 Federation Meet, Bennett was J-E's # 1 man finishing in 13th place.  At States in 1998, Bennett was 13th in the Eagles State Championship.  Bennett continued his running career at Onondaga Community College and was an All American there.  He transferred to the University of New Haven and ran with former teammate Jeremy Cornue.

Jeff Whitmore (1996 - 1999)

Mark Schneider was the first Jordan-Elbridge harrier to compete in three State Meets (1986 - 1988).   Schneider was 91st at States as a sophomore, 84th as a junior, and 44th as a senior.  Mark's best performance in Sectionals was as a senior where he finished 5th overall.  Schneider was a part of three league titles for J-E as well.  Schneider was an all star both his junior and senior seasons.

Rob Boucheron (1995 - 1998)

Jeff Whitmore was the second J-E cross country runner to compete in three state meets.  As a sophomore and a junior, Whitmore ran with the entire J-E team, helping J-E to a 6th place finish as a sophomore and a state championship as a junior (66th place).  As a senior, Whitmore placed third at sectionals qualifying for the State Meet as an individual.  At States in his last high school race, Whitmore placed 59th.  Whitmore was selected to the All Central New York Class 'B' Boys Cross Country team.
