Photos of Cazenovia Invite

Jeff Donohue and Donato Direnzo continue to be a formidable duo as they race together in Friday's Cazenovia Invite.  Donohue was 10th and Direnzo was 12th in the race.  In the photo below, the J-E harriers are about to climb a steep upgrade at the 3/4 mile mark of the race.

Junior Jake Griffin leads teammate Kyle Merrill down the stretch run at the Caz Invite.  Merrill's fierce kick allowed him to overtake the harrier from Westhill at the finish line in a very exciting finish.  Griffin was 23rd and Merrill was 24th as both runners completed the tough equine center course in 19 minutes and 39 seconds.

Sophomore Kyle Becker leads freshman Matt Sullivan to the finish line.  Becker was 64th, one place ahead of Sullivan.

Senior Shelby Brayton is psyching up his teammates just before the start of Friday's race.  Brayton himself was psyched IN the race as he was J-E's third man, finishing in 22nd place in 19 minutes and 24 seconds.  Well done!

Senior Kyle Bard leads freshman teammate Mike Marrero at just before the 1.5 mile mark in Friday's Caz. Invite.  Marrero got past Bard and finished in 30th place (20.11).  Bard was 35th in 20.46.

Freshman Cody Stanton displays a nice smile on his way to a # 1 Junior Varsity ranking.  Stanton cruised over the 3.1 mile Caz. course and was JE's 8th man overall.

Sophomore George Brauchle works to stay ahead of some wild-haired runner from Fabius in Friday's Caz Invite.
